Michael Kaplanidis, the founder of Water Street Associates, needed a website for his startup tax business. He wanted a friendly, modern, sleek aesthetic for the new enterprise, and liked a lot of the trendy web design styles going around. We built a site that covers all of those bases and helps the consumer learn more about Water Street Associates.

Tax imagery is tough. Rather than use cheesy stock photos, Upstatement employed a bold typographical header for each section. Quirky illustrations appear on some to help position Water Street Tax as a sophisticated, but friendly company to do business with.
