This visualization processes a full day of traffic on the T's 4 major rail lines using data from September 8, 2009. The height of the colored band corresponds to the number of people entering the system at that time. We assigned a note and instrument to each line. So as (for example) more people enter the T at Harvard Square on the Red line, the red bar grows and the intensity of that channel will increase.
